In 2012, with support from the Mizuho USA Foundation, the Center launched the Housing Mobility Program to coordinate long-term, affordable solutions for New Yorkers leaving homes they can no longer afford. The program helps transitioning homeowners to explore their housing and financial options and offers tailored plans that include referrals, resources to help identify alternative affordable housing, and access to financial empowerment services.
Advocates can direct interested homeowners to dial 646-786-0888 (or 311 and ask for the Center if they are in New York City).
