The Senior Homeowner Initiative meets the challenges of older homeowners in New York City. These homeowners typically live on a fixed income with limited resources, while the rising cost of living and medical expenses leave them vulnerable to financial shocks. Through our network of community-based organizations, the Center coordinates services to help seniors age in place and remain in their homes. The initiative is supported by the New York City Council.
